A Family Tradition of Care and Community

Kinfolk Auction & Antiques LLC was founded by Deidre Humphrey, an Atlanta native who grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia. For more than two decades, Deidre and her husband have made Hoschton, GA their home, where they raised three children and now enjoy time with their grandchildren and dogs.


Before entering the auction industry, Deidre spent over ten years working in healthcare—developing a passion for helping others through challenging times. That experience became even more personal when she supported her mother’s transition to assisted living during a dementia diagnosis at the start of the pandemic. Navigating that process firsthand gave Deidre a new perspective on the emotional and logistical challenges families face when managing a loved one’s belongings.


That experience sparked a new calling. Deidre began selling antiques and collectibles, starting with a single antique booth that soon grew to three successful locations. Her love for history, craftsmanship, and meaningful items inspired her to take the next step—earning her auctioneer license in May and launching Kinfolk Auction & Antiques LLC.
